Robert Half is on the hunt for an HR Generalist to join a dynamic team in Hood River, OR. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Develop creative recruiting strategies to attract top talent and address hiring challenges, especially for bilingual roles.
- Conduct background and FBI checks for candidates, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Administer benefits, including sick time, PTO, and open enrollment support when that time comes.
- Provide support to employees on benefits-related inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
- Work closely with a diverse workforce, including a significant number of Hispanic employees, to foster an inclusive and supportive environment.
- Assist with HR tasks such as maintaining employee records, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting the HR team on special projects as needed.
- Prior experience in a generalist HR role. ideally with recruiting experience.
- Kromos experience preferred.
- Strong recruiting skills with the ability to develop innovative strategies to attract candidates.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with bilingual employees and candidates.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Familiarity with payroll systems and benefits administration processes is a plus.
- A collaborative attitude and a passion for supporting a diverse and dynamic team.
