Job Description
We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accounting Assistant in Cincinnati, Ohio. As an Accounting Assistant, your role will be instrumental in the overall functioning of our accounts department, with responsibilities ranging from credit card entry to timesheet review and data entry. The role will also require you to handle a variety of administrative tasks and provide support to our accounting team.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the accurate entry and reconciliation of credit card transactions
• Review and post timesheets for internal processing
• Ensure proper filing and organization of all relevant documents
• Compile backup for invoices on a monthly basis
• Maintain and update the parking spreadsheet
• Handle data entry tasks and check processing
• Deposit checks and record the transactions.
• Provide administrative support to the accounting department
• In the future, you will be tasked with billing, consultant management and support of new projects.
• Position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounting Assistant or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential.
• Familiarity with Concur software is required.
• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is a must.
• Must be adept at handling various Accounting Functions.
• Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.
• Proficiency in conducting Bank Reconciliations is required.
• The role requires skills in Administrative Assistance.
• Ability to handle Project Coordination is a must
