Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, tailored to their unique strengths, needs, and learning goals.
• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with a range of disabilities, including learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and emotional/behavioral disorders.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students, incorporating evidence-based teaching strategies and accommodations as necessary.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the successful inclusion and integration of students with disabilities into the general education classroom.
• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress, adjust instruction as needed, and communicate progress to parents and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid Indiana teaching license with Special Education endorsement or eligibility for licensure.
• Previous experience working with students with disabilities in an educational setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
