Robert Half is seeking Customer Service Representatives to become a part of a call center team in the hospitality industry for a company based in Lexington, KY. In the role of a Customer Service Representative, your responsibilities will include managing both inbound and outbound calls, promptly processing client requests, and accurately entering information into the reservation system. Several shifts and open seats available! Lots of 2nd shift openings, some schedules including weekend days. Apply today to be considered!


Responsibilities

• Professionally manage inbound and outbound calls

• Process client requests promptly as per defined service levels

• Accurately and efficiently enter information into the reservation system

• Communicate effectively and professionally with all clients and departments

• Enhance our company's reputation by providing an exceptional level of service to all clients

• Complete client requests before the established due times

• Use decision-making skills to find hotel options that align with business financial goals

• Exhibit knowledge of the hotel industry and regional markets associated with clients

• Meet all client deadlines and communicate quickly and accurately with clients

• Follow up with clients on outstanding requests before arrival to complete requests

• Resolve all client and hotel issues regarding extensions, early departures, or other changes to a reservation on a daily basis

• Collaborate and communicate with Account Management teams and Hotel Network Management to identify hotels frequented by clients and identify opportunities to provide clients with “in-network” hotel options

• Manage inbound and outbound call time to maximize availability to take a call


This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

• Proven experience in the hospitality industry
• Prior experience as a Customer Service Representative or similar role
• Proficiency in handling inbound call center operations
• Ability to manage both inbound and outbound calls effectively
• Strong understanding of call center customer service protocols
• Proven ability to resolve customer service issues promptly and professionally
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle customer complaints
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on feet
• Availability to work in shifts, during weekends, or holidays if required
• Proficiency in using computer software and systems relevant to the role
• A highly customer-oriented mindset and dedication to excellent service delivery
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages would be a plus.
