Job Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service representative in Baltimore, Maryland. The candidate will be part of a team that emphasizes on providing top-notch customer service, particularly for customers whose vehicles have been impounded by the city. Our industry involves interacting with customers both in-person and over the phone, providing them with the necessary information to expedite the return, auction, or disposal of their vehicles.
Responsibilities:
• Handle inquiries from customers regarding impounded vehicles, both over the phone and in person.
• Provide detailed information to customers about required procedures and documents for vehicle release, auction, or disposal.
• Review and scrutinize official forms and customer documents for completeness, consistency, and authenticity.
• Determine necessary documentation and procedures based on specific vehicle impoundment circumstances.
• Retrieve information from the Department of Motor Vehicle database to check for existing liens on the vehicle or outstanding violation tickets.
• Schedule administrative hearings to resolve disputes regarding impounded vehicles.
• Use problem resolution skills to assist customers and resolve complaints.
• Ensure efficient and accurate data entry for maintaining customer records.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary
