A firm with almost $10 billion in assets under management across multiple strategies including private equity, public equity and infrastructure is looking to add a Vice President, Business Development to their team. The Vice President, Business Development will be responsible for: Lead business development efforts for the firm's existing and prospective institutional and private wealth clients. Build and maintain strong relationships with pension funds, endowments, sovereign wealth funds, private wealth channels and other key allocators. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve capital-raising targets and expand the investor base. Collaborate with internal teams, including investment professionals and marketing, to ensure effective communication of the firm's value proposition and investment strategies. Manage the entire fundraising lifecycle, from initial contact through to due diligence, negotiation, and close. Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership. The Vice President, Business Development should have: Minimum of 6 years of experience in institutional sales within the investment management industry. Proven track record of raising capital from institutional investors, ideally for funds and direct investments in infrastructure, private equity, or private credit. Strong existing relationships with institutional investors, RIAs, and/or private wealth channels Deep understanding of the investment landscape and ability to communicate various investment strategies and performance Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. Results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to drive fundraising success and meet ambitious targets.
