We seek an exceptional individual to join our team as the Senior Director, Annual Giving and Stewardship (Administrator II). About the Position:
Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Central Development, the Sr. Director of Annual Giving and Stewardship is responsible for growing and cultivating a broad pipeline of alumni, parents, friends, and other constituencies to meet and exceed unit goals. The Sr. Director will manage a team to create and execute annual giving activities, stewardship strategies, and engagement opportunities using traditional and innovative methods. Responsibilities include creating and implementing strategies to measure and increase engagement, lead generation, donor acquisition, and stewardship. Oversight of state and foundation budgets is also required. The Sr. Director will partner effectively with key colleagues across campus. Other duties may be assigned. Diversity Statement:

Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a related field. Six or more years of experience in development with a focus on annual giving. Experience managing and motivating teams. Exemplary interpersonal and written communication skills. Proven track record of soliciting donors and managing relationships. Proficient knowledge of digital technology and advancement platforms. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Suite. Experience working with sensitive and confidential data. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily and is required for employment. Preferred Qualifications: Commitment to the mission of Cal State Fullerton and its culture of philanthropy. Comprehensive knowledge of fundraising principles in a higher education setting. Experience creating complex segmented fundraising campaigns. Outstanding collaborative skills and the ability to work independently. A flexible work style that adapts to changing needs. Ability to analyze needs and motivate others to action. License/Certifications:
A valid California driver's license. Special Working Conditions:
Must be able to work the annual commencement ceremonies. Must be able to travel to meet with donor prospects. Additional Information:
