LHH is seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Accounting Clerk to join our client's finance team. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in accounts receivable management.

LHH is seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Accounting Clerk to join our client's finance team. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in accounts receivable management.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with tasks related to accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation.
- Prepare and process journal entries accurately and timely.
- Maintain precise and organized financial records and documents.
- Support monthly and year-end financial closings.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to resolve any accounting discrepancies.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Perform general administrative duties as required to support the finance department.
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience as an accounting clerk or in a similar capacity is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is an advantage.
