Description
YWCA Dayton, a 24 hours organization dedicated to the elimination of racism and the empowerment of women, seeks an energetic, dedicated person to be an integral part of our team. The Crisis Services Manager is an Exempt level position working 40 plus hours weekly with some evenings and weekend activities. The Crisis Services Manager reports to the Vice President of Operations and plays a vital role in providing compassion, care and support to individuals in crisis. This position is responsible for the day-to-day direct services provided by the crisis services team ensuring that services and/or referrals are made available to survivors of domestic violence, intimate partner violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and stalking and their children on a 24-hour per day basis. This person is dedicated and demonstrates compassion in support of the vision, mission, and values of YWCA Dayton.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Provides oversight for the operation of the Crisis Hotline, Front Desk, and Domestic Violence Shelter.
•Partners with community organizations to advocate for resources, programs and opportunities available that benefit the YWCA population served especially high utilizers of crisis services.
•Maintains frequent communication with the clinical team to ensure seamless delivery of services throughout the organization.
•Assists the Director of Clinical and Client Services with reporting and metrics.
•Coordinates with the Case Managers to maintain a comprehensive Resource Guide utilized in the Crisis Hotline.
•Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Must have minimum of 5 years domestic violence, victim advocacy, crisis services, human services, mental health counseling, psychology or related field preferred; Bachelor/s Degree in these preferred; or 6 plus years crisis services or related experience in lieu of degree.
