Description of Role: We are looking for a Temp to Hire Patient Services Representative to collect information from patients before their medical appointments and answer questions about billing. They will work the front desk in a medical care setting and communicate with patients through verbal and written correspondence.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients upon arrival
• Check patients in and out
• Perform insurance verification and prescription refills
• Answer inbound calls for scheduling patients.

Skills & Requirements:

• 2+ years' experience as a Patient Service Representative or similar role
• 2+ years' insurance verification and referrals experience
• Bilingual a plus
• Working in a multi provider and/or multi-specialty clinic a plus
• Experience using Athena a plus
• Must be Covid Vaccinated
• Knowledge of medical terms and practices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access)
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Pay:  $17
