Job Description
We are offering a contract employment opportunity in Minneapolis, Minnesota for a HR Recruiter in the non-profit sector. As a HR Recruiter, your primary duties will involve managing job postings, assessing applicant suitability, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as a liaison with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements
• Manage and maintain job postings on various platforms, including job boards and social networks
• Evaluate applicants based on their knowledge, skills, relevant experience, and aptitudes
• Employ reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods for conducting interviews
• Advocate for our organization's reputation as a desirable workplace
• Ensure that all hiring processes are in compliance with employment laws and practices
• Utilize skills in UKG, CareerBuilder, CRM, About Time, Applicant Track System, and Background Checks
• Conduct thorough applicant screening and reference checks
• Oversee new-employee orientations and benefit functions
• Maintain clear and effective communication throughout the recruitment process
• Proficiency in using UKG or other applicant tracking systems.
• Experience with Careerbuilder
• 2 years of previous Recruiting experience
• Proven experience with Applicant Track System
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in applicant screening
• Proven record of checking references accurately
• Experience conducting new-employee orientations
