Superintendent - Structural Steel Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Superintendent for our Structural Steel division. The ideal candidate will oversee the erection of structural steel components, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of steel construction processes. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all activities related to structural steel erection on-site. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and practices to promote a safe work environment. Manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work. Provide on-site training and mentorship to crew members and subcontractors. Manage resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize productivity. Qualifications Proven experience as a Superintendent in steel erecting and construction management. Strong knowledge of structural steel construction processes and safety regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications. Experience with project management software and tools. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or degrees in construction management or related fields are a plus.
