We are thrilled for the opportunity to partner with a growing manufacturing client who is seeking to add an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join their organization located in Miami County, Ohio. This role is critical to driving a positive employee experience, enhancing workforce engagement, and supporting operational goals. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on employee relations in a manufacturing or industrial environment. As a Sr. HRBP, you will act as a trusted advisor to management, collaborate across teams, and lead initiatives to foster a productive, inclusive workplace culture. This role is fully onsite, requiring hands-on involvement to effectively address employee and business needs. Desired Skills and Experience Key Responsibilities: Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. Conduct investigations, provide guidance to managers, and recommend solutions to mitigate risk. Proactively address employee concerns and foster open communication across the organization. Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives, including talent management, workforce planning, and performance improvement. Implement HR programs that promote engagement, retention, and alignment with organizational goals. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor regulations. Regularly update policies and procedures to reflect legal requirements and best practices. Support the design and delivery of training programs focused on leadership development, conflict resolution, and effective communication. Coach managers and employees to enhance professional growth and organizational effectiveness. Performance Management: Oversee performance review processes, provide guidance on setting objectives, and support action plans for underperformance. Lead initiatives to recognize and reward employee contributions. Change Management: Lead HR-driven change management initiatives to support business growth and cultural transformation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of HR experience with a strong emphasis on employee relations in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, FLSA, OSHA). Proven ability to handle sensitive issues with professionalism and confidentiality. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels of the organization. Experience managing HR programs in an onsite environment is highly preferred.
