Summary You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, PRODUCTION LEAD/SCHEDULER in the Department of the Navy, Fleet Readiness Centers, Aviation Support Equipment (FRC ASE) of FLTREADCEN ASE SOLOMONS ISLAND MD. Responsibilities You will evaluate and incorporate the latest developments in the field of logistics / maintenance into policies and programs. You will develop policies, instructions, and programs and serve as a liaison for these concepts in providing advice and guidance to headquarters, field and fleet Integrated Logistics Support(ILS) personnel. You will use the Support Equipment Management System (SEMS) data to develop financial support for the Support Equipment Rework program.. You will manage and evaluate assigned logistics maintenance policy program requirements for day-to-day business. You will schedule SE for the fleet to ensure timely maintenance and operational readiness. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: Evaluating the effectiveness of assigned logistics maintenance policy and procedural program areas to meet planned goals and objectives of the Support Equipment Depot Level Rework Program; Developing requirements for management information systems and reporting to implement analysis systems for assigned program areas; Presenting data to support the program budget inputs in support of additional depot workload of support equipment provided from PMA's and Program Platform Managers; Maintaining and developing instructions, standards, handbooks, manuals and other information on assigned logistics for support equipment depot level maintenance policy and procedural program areas; and Reviewing, approving, and rejecting requests for deviations or waivers for assigned programs.
