Position Title: Automotive Sales Manager / Desk Manager Location: Lexington, KY Employment Type: Full-Time Our client is a reputable volume automotive dealership known for delivering exceptional customer experiences and fostering a dynamic team environment. With an impressive inventory, state-of-the-art facilities, and a commitment to growth, this dealership is an industry leader in sales and service. Position Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Desk Manager to lead and drive sales at this bustling dealership. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven professional with a strong background in automotive sales, deal structuring, and team leadership. This individual will play a critical role in driving profitability, mentoring the sales team, and ensuring the seamless flow of operations on the sales floor. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Motivate, coach, and manage a high-performing sales team to meet and exceed sales goals. Deal Structuring: Oversee the desk operations, ensuring deals are structured effectively and profitability targets are achieved. Customer Engagement: Assist in resolving escalated customer inquiries to maintain high customer satisfaction ratings. Training and Development: Provide ongoing training for sales staff, enhancing their product knowledge and sales techniques. Inventory Management: Collaborate with management to ensure appropriate inventory levels and effective merchandising. Compliance: Ensure all sales processes comply with dealership and regulatory standards. Qualifications Proven track record as a Desk Manager or similar leadership role in a high-volume dealership. Strong understanding of deal structuring, F&I processes, and automotive sales. Strong track record of holding gross with a focus on compliance and good paperwork Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team. Adept at using dealership management systems (DMS) and CRM platforms. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
