The Patent Attorney will primarily focus on patent preparation and prosecution, leveraging their expertise in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering to provide comprehensive legal support to the firm's clients. Conduct patentability searches and provide opinions on patent validity and infringement. Draft and prosecute patent applications before the USPTO. Advise clients on intellectual property matters, including patent strategy and portfolio management. Collaborate with inventors, engineers, and other legal professionals to secure and protect intellectual property rights. Assist in patent litigation and dispute resolution as needed. Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution. Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field. Admission to practice before the USPTO. Strong understanding of patent laws and regulations. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:
Admission to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Skills:
