Job Title: Benefits Specialist
Location: Onsite in Salem, Oregon
Compensation: $25-$28 per hour
Contract Duration: 2-month contract with possibility of permanent hire

Job Description:

LHH Recruitment is seeking a self-drivena and detail-oriented Benefits Specialist to join our Non-Profit client's team in Salem, Oregon. Our client is known for helping many people and doing great things in the community! At least intermediate Excel skills are a requirement for this role, as well as 3+ years of experience either coordinating or managing benefits within HR. Our client is ready to bring someone in immediately.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and provide guidance on plan options.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee benefits information.
  • Coordinate with insurance providers and other third-party vendors.
  • Handle employee inquiries and resolve issues related to benefits.
  • Conduct benefits orientations and provide ongoing education to employees about their benefits.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in benefits administration or a similar role.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
