Travel RRT - $1,949 per week in San Diego, CA

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty: RRT-NICU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Guaranteed Hours: Hours are guaranteed after the call-off policy has been met Experience: 2 years in a dedicated children's hospital; experience in pediatric ICU settings License: California RCP License required Certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP (AHA) - Advanced level required; RRT national credential required Must-Have: - California RCP License in hand - RRT-NPS preferred - 2 years of recent pediatric ICU experience from a children's hospital - Trauma Level 1 experience/Level 4 NICU experience - Experience with trachs and vents, suctioning, and oxygen - Required certifications Job Description: - Must have experience from a dedicated children's facility, not from a general or adult facility with pediatric unit experience. - Seeking strong pediatric ICU skill set; therapists should be able to work across at least two of the three ICUs, including Level IV NICU, Level I PICU, and/or the Cardiothoracic ICU. - Willingness to work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period, including 2 full weekends in a 4-week schedule block. - Required to work 2 out of 3 major holidays. - Float within the facility to meet facility needs. - Open to candidates pending state license. - Complete pre-start modules (6-8 hours) prior to beginning; modules are not billable. - Required flu vaccine; exemptions are not permitted. - Candidates must be prepared to work with high-acuity pediatric patients from various care units.
