Travel RRT - $1,949 per week in San Diego, CA

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty: RRT-NICU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Guaranteed Hours: Based on call-off policy Experience: At least 1 year in a dedicated children's facility if experienced with NICU/PICU elsewhere, otherwise 1.5 years at a dedicated children’s hospital preferred License: California RCP License required Certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP (American Heart Association) - Advanced level required Must-Have: - RRT national credential (RRT-NPS preferred) - Strong pediatric ICU skill set - Experience in Level IV NICU and Level I PICU Job Description: - Must be able to work across at least two of the three ICUs: Level IV NICU, Level I PICU, and Cardiothoracic ICU - Manage patients with trachs and vents, perform suctioning, and administer oxygen - Work with high acuity patients including intubated patients and therapies like heliox/iNO - Provide care in various settings including pediatric floor, trauma, and medical units - Commit to 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period (2 full weekends) - Be adaptable to scheduling without requests for specific blocks - COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine required (no exemptions) - Complete non-billable orientation hours and mandatory modules before starting Please ensure you meet the experience and certification requirements before applying.
