Travel RRT - $1,949 per week in San Diego, CA

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty: RRT Pediatrics Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Guaranteed Hours: Hours are guaranteed after the call-off policy has been met. Experience: 1-1.5 years of experience at a dedicated children's facility or hospital. License: California RCP License required. Certifications: - BLS (AHA) - PALS (AHA) - NRP (AHA) - Advanced level required Must-Have: - Experience in pediatric ICUs, including either a Level IV NICU, Level I PICU, or Cardiothoracic ICU - Experience with trauma Level 1, NICU Level 4, tracheostomies, ventilators, suctioning, and oxygen Job Description: - Provide respiratory therapy in a children's hospital setting. - Work with pediatric patients in acute care. - Treat patients with conditions like asthma, bronchiolitis, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, cystic fibrosis, bronchitis, pneumonia, and respiratory trauma. - Work with intubated patients and apply specialty gases such as heliox/iNO. - Operate within high-acuity settings, especially in the NICU and cardiothoracic ICU. - Must work across at least two of the three ICUs. - Weekend shifts required per contract: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period. - Orientation includes non-billable modules to be completed before starting. - Patient care involves various respiratory therapies for high-acuity patients on specified floors.
