Travel RRT - $2,626 per week in San Diego, CA

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty: RRT Pediatrics Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Guaranteed Hours: After call-off policy is met Experience: Minimum of 1 year at a children's hospital for experienced RRT or 1.5 years preferred at a dedicated children's hospital License: California RCP License required Certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP (AHA) - Advanced level required Must-Have: - Strong pediatric ICU skill set - Experience in at least two of the following: Level IV NICU, Level I PICU, and/or Cardiothoracic ICU - Experience with tracheostomies and ventilators, suctioning, and oxygen required - Trauma Level 1 experience and NICU Level 4 experience preferred Job Description: - Provide respiratory therapy in a dedicated children's facility - Work across different ICUs, including NICU, PICU, and Cardiothoracic ICU - Ensure patient care on the pulmonary floor, treating conditions like asthma, bronchiolitis, cerebral palsy, and cystic fibrosis - Handle high acuity patients on floors, providing respiratory support for intubated patients - Collaborate with a team in a teaching and Level 1 trauma environment - Follow scheduling rotations, including working 2 out of 3 holidays and weekend shifts as required
