Travel RRT - $2,626 per week in San Diego, CA

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty: RRT-NICU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Hours are guaranteed after the call-off policy has been met Experience: Minimum 1.5 years in a dedicated children's hospital preferred, or 1 year with strong NICU/PICU experience in other settings License: California RCP License Certifications: - BLS (AHA) - PALS (AHA) - NRP (AHA) - Must be Advanced Must-Have: - RRT national credential required; RRT-NPS preferred - Trauma Level 1 experience/NICU level 4 experience - Experience with tracheostomies and ventilators, suctioning, and oxygen Job Description: - Work across at least two of the three ICUs, including a Level IV NICU, Level I PICU, and Cardiothoracic ICU - Provide care on floors including acute care, pulmonary, medical, and trauma units - Manage and support high-acuity pediatric patients, including those with asthma, bronchiolitis, cerebral palsy, cystic fibrosis, and more - Administer therapies including specialty gases, such as heliox and iNO - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in pediatric care settings - Meet weekend shift requirements with flexibility in scheduling - Complete orientation and required modules pre-start Note: Must work 2 out of 3 holidays, and floating to satellite locations may be required for NICU.
