Seeking therapists with strong pediatric ICU skills who can work across at least two of the three ICUs, including a Level IV NICU, Level I PICU, and/or the Cardiothoracic ICU. License: Valid California RCP License required Certifications: - BLS (American Heart Association) - PALS (American Heart Association) - NRP (American Heart Association) Must have advanced certifications in hand or be registered for an advanced class to obtain them before the start date. Must-Have: - Experience in a Level 1 trauma setting with Level 4 NICU experience - Skills in handling tracheostomies and ventilators, suctioning, and oxygen therapy Job Description: - Provide high-quality respiratory care to pediatric patients across various acute and intensive care units - Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care - Participate in weekend shifts with the requirement to work two full weekends in a four-week scheduling block - Be open to floating within scope to meet facility needs - Engage in patient management for conditions such as asthma, bronchiolitis, and cystic fibrosis, as well as participate in care involving complex therapies like heliox and iNO for intubated patients - Complete non-billable pre-start modules before orientation - Adhere to hospital protocols, including obtaining a necessary flu shot and completing required orientation hours
