Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty: RRT - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 4x12-hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: After call-off policy is met Experience: - 1 year minimum experience in a dedicated children's facility or a strong RRT with NICU/PICU experience. - Preferred: 1.5 years at a dedicated children's hospital. License: - California RCP License required in hand. Certifications: - Advanced BLS, PALS, NRP certifications (AHA). Must-Have: - Experience in trauma Level 1 and NICU Level 4. - Experience with trachs and vents, suctioning, and oxygen. Job Description: - Seeking strong pediatric ICU skill set; therapists who can work across at least two of three ICUs including a Level IV NICU, Level I PICU, and/or the Cardiothoracic ICU. - Must be able to float within the hospital to meet facility needs. - Weekend shifts required: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period, typically 2 full weekends per scheduling block. - Candidates will be required to work 2 out of 3 holidays. - Locals are accepted, and pending state licenses will be considered. - Completion of non-billable modules is required pre-start, which can take 6-8 hours to complete and does not factor into orientation hours. - Orientation will be 12 hours, non-billable. - Flu vaccine required, with no exemptions.
