Travel RRT - $2,626 per week in San Diego, CA

Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Job Specialty: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift, 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Guaranteed hours after the call-off policy has been met Experience: - Minimum 1 year of experience in a dedicated children's facility if possessing strong NICU/PICU experience elsewhere. - Preferred 1.5 years at a dedicated children's hospital. License: - California RCP License Certifications: - BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), NRP (AHA) - Must be Advanced Must-Have: - National RRT credential; RRT-NPS preferred. - Experience with trachs, vents, suctioning, and oxygen. - Trauma Level 1 experience and NICU Level 4 experience. Job Description: - The position requires strong pediatric ICU skills, with therapists capable of working across at least two of the three ICUs, including a Level IV NICU, Level I PICU, and/or the Cardiothoracic ICU. - Clinicians must float within scope to meet facility needs, but there's no floating to sister facilities. - Weekend shifts are required as per the contract, with 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period. - Scheduling attempts to give every other weekend off, but it's not guaranteed. - The facility handles pediatric care including acute care, pulmonary floor treatments, and high acuity patients in PICU, NICU, and CTICU. - Must have the flu vaccine. Exemptions aren't accepted. - Modules need to be completed pre-start and are recorded as completed. - Travelers are reimbursed for mileage when driving to locations other than their home base facility for NICU and HomeCare positions.
