Robert Half is looking for HR Director / Consultant for 3-6 months consulting engagement with our Construction client for onsite role in Riverside, CA.

HR Director will have the following responsibilities and required qualifications:

-Embedded in the business leadership as a trusted advisor

-Operate with a business-focused mindset; maintain deep understanding of the business strategy and the needs of the operations; have ear to the ground building trust and maintaining visibility; leverage strategic approach while providing organizational, team and individual consulting services.

-Works closely with EVP/GM and regional leadership and managers to provide coaching at all levels

-Drive strategic talent priorities, employee engagement and organizational effectiveness; deliver teaming / partnering services internally as well as with external partners; drives solutions-focused change throughout business.

-Demonstrate problem solving skills and critical thinking to methodically break down problems to discover root causes

-Demonstrate systemic thinking and the ability to think holistically ahead and anticipate potential implications of what is happening in the business, understanding its impacts on the organization, or parts of, and develop solutions to capitalize on/account for

-Partner within and across business units to deliver the employee experience - drive alignment with our culture and values throughout the organization; team player that proactively develops and uses collaborative and cooperative relationships

-Liaison for HR-related services for employees and the business


Requirements:

-BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience. A degree in human resources management, labor relations or a related field of study, in particular a Master's degree and/or JD is highly preferred

-7+ years of experience as a HR business partner or generalist experience supporting leaders in large national, regional or global companies

-3+ years of people management experience

• Proven experience in the Construction/Contractor industry

• Strong understanding and knowledge of Compliance regulations within the construction sector

• Expertise in Employment Law, specifically as it pertains to the construction industry

• Proficient in using HCM Saas Oracle Fusion for HR management

• Experience in utilizing iCIMS for recruitment and talent acquisition

• Demonstrated Leadership Skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team

• Proven success in Talent Acquisition, with the ability to attract and retain top industry talent

• Experience in Talent Development, including creating and implementing development programs

• Ability to foster Team Cohesion and promote a positive working environment

• Willingness and ability to Travel if needed
