AGILE COACH

The current hiring base salary range for this role is:

$102,306.00/year - $118,086.30/year

UCare anticipates paying within the above-references salary range for this position. The actual base salary offer for this position will be determined by a variety of components including but not limited to work experience, education, certifications, location of the role, internal equity, and other relevant factors.

LOCATION: Minneapolis, MN (Work from Home)

Position Description

As an Agile Coach, you will be responsible to help support UCare's ongoing Agile transformation. You will coach, train, and mentor members of individual teams in UCare's value delivery model. In addition, you will serve as a champion for Agile methodologies and philosophy promoting it throughout the organization. You will consult and support operationalizing the value delivery model while continuously maturing and evolving it to support the organization's needs.
  • Collaborate with leaders and teams to help align agile practices with Ucare's Value Delivery Model to ensure consistent and effective delivery of value to stakeholders.
  • Coach and mentor team member, including business leaders, project leads and subject matter experts, across the organization to adopt and adapt a product mindset with agile practices effectively, fostering a culture of agility and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate scrum events, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to ensure effective collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support throughout the change curve, helping resistors buy into the changes by addressing their concerns and demonstrating the benefits of agile practices.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration by encouraging feedback, experimentation, and learning.
  • Leverage experience with Team Topologies to optimize team structures and interactions, ensuring that teams are organized in a way that maximizes their effectiveness.
  • Organize and facilitate learning sessions, as needed, to help colleagues understand and adopt agile practices.
  • Document and share best practices, case studies, and lessons learned within the organization. Stay up-to-date on agile best practices.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.


Education

Bachelor's degree; demonstrated experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Required Experience

5 years or more of experience in a corporate coaching environment, with a proven track record of successfully implementing agile practices. Proven experience in Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and/or SAFe, with the ability to tailor organizational practices to suit different team needs. Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or other relevant Scrum certifications that demonstrate knowledge and commitment to Agile principles and profession.

Preferred Experience

Experience in the healthcare industry, with an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this sector. Advanced Scrum certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Professional [CSP], Professional Scrum Master II or III [PSM II/III]) that demonstrates a higher level of expertise in Agile practices. Experience with Team Topologies and its application in agile environments, with the ability to design and implement optimal team structures.
