Software Asset Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Software Asset Manager to join our Enterprise Infrastructure & Operations Foundational Tools Team. This role involves managing software licensing contracts and entitlements, working with large vendors, and supporting vendor audits. The ideal candidate will help drive automation and modernization of Software Asset Management (SAM) practices to support next-generation IT Operations, SRE, and DevOps.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage software licensing contracts and entitlement processes.

• Work with procurement teams to ensure accurate understanding and management of software entitlements.

• Collaborate with large vendors like IBM, Oracle, and Informatica for licensing and compliance.

• Support vendor audits and ensure alignment with contractual and regulatory requirements.

• Utilize ServiceNow to maintain and improve SAM processes.

• Partner across technology organizations to implement industry-leading SAM practices.

• Drive automation and modernization of SAM to align with IT Operations, SRE, and DevOps.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Software Asset Management (SAM).

• Proven experience managing software licensing contracts and entitlement processes.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow.

• Experience working with large vendors such as IBM, Oracle, and Informatica.

• Hands-on experience with vendor audits and compliance processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with procurement and IT asset management systems.

• Knowledge of IT Operations, SRE, and DevOps practices.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
