JOB TITLE SUMMARY

Job Title: Coordinator, College Operations and Accreditation Support

Division: Academic Affairs

Evaluation Group: Staff

Reports To: Dean, Plaster College of Business and Entrepreneurship

Positions Supervised: N/A

Job Summary

The coordinator of college operations and accreditation support is responsible for the operational aspects of Plaster College of Business and Entrepreneurship (PCBE). This position provides critical support to the college office to ensure administrative requirements are fulfilled.

Essential Job Functions and Performance Indicators

The intent of this job description is to provide a representation of the types of duties and level of responsibility that will be required of positions given this title. Job Responsibilities and Execution
  • Prepares, summarizes, and communicates survey data for assessment and accreditation processes
  • Coordinates logistics for board meetings and provides support for other college events
  • Attends PCBE faculty, staff, and committee meetings (as needed) to document discussions, decisions, and action items
  • Manages communication and resources for the college and adjunct faculty, including systems such as the Learning Management System (LMS) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Serves as staff advisor to the college's student organization
  • Manages various workflows, including assessment reports, graduate application reviews, assignment of advisees/mentees, student tours, transfer credits, early access, and 4+1 programs
  • Prepares and maintains internal records and other duties related to general academic administration
  • Manages support staff, such as administrative assistants (student employees), during the academic year
  • Establishes and maintains systems for administration of academic records, including electronic files, records, and databases
  • Maintains data entry for University systems
Service Excellence
  • Supports the mission of the University and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellence
  • Models, supports, and holds others accountable to the University's values
Communication, Teamwork, and Collaboration
  • Provides support for instruction and student administration
  • Composes and prepares written documents and correspondence for the office, including minutes, memos, letters, presentation, and spreadsheets
  • Supports employment administration and human resources processes, serving as a point of contact with the central Human Resources (HR) department
  • Serves as a point of contact for facility, information technology, and administrative requests for the college
  • Administers appointment paperwork requirements for faculty, staff, and student employees
  • Fulfills administrative requirements for the college and other functions within area of responsibility
Job may require other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications - An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. Additional requirements may be designated by position.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an office or administrative capacity
  • Experience working effectively with diverse populations preferred
