Staff Accountant

This onsite role in Princeton, NJ, offers a competitive salary of $60,000 - $75,000 and involves supporting the financial operations and accounting functions of the company's construction projects. Job Title: Staff Accountant

Location: Princeton, NJ

Salary: $60,000 - $75,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
  
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing accurate financial data and analysis.
  
• Assist with audit preparations and liaise with external auditors to ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
  

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  
• At least 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
  
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
  
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
  
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
