Staff Accountant

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our clients finance team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our clients organization. You will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including:

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
• CPA or a CPA candidate is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay Details: $45,000.00 to $52,500.00 per year
