Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search seeks a full-time experienced litigation paralegal to assist attorneys with case management. Responsibilities Document review, filing, mediation, and trial preparation. Requesting and responding to discovery, preparing for depositions, drafting reports and summaries. Communicating with opposing counsel, experts, witnesses, and court personnel. Maintaining court dockets, coordinating docket activities to ensure all dates are calendared and deadlines met, and providing docket reports upon request. Experience Communicating with clients, witnesses, experts, and court personnel, as well as general civil litigation experience is required. Experience working on insurance coverage cases, specifically property insurance coverage litigation or liability coverage litigation is preferred. Experience with electronic databases, Relativity, Trial Director, and West Case Notebook or similar products is preferred. Proficiency with CompuLaw or other similar docketing software is preferred. Qualifications Candidates should have four to eight years of experience in civil litigation. Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel is required. Bachelor's degree with a paralegal certification preferred.
