As a
Senior Data Engineer , you'll play a pivotal role in developing scalable data infrastructure that supports integration, transformation, and visualization. Your expertise will drive high-quality data solutions for business-critical initiatives. Data Architecture Design:
Build and maintain scalable data architectures and pipelines for efficient data integration and visualization.
ETL Development:
Design and manage Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to ensure seamless data flow to warehouses and lakes.
Database Management:
Optimize relational and non-relational databases, ensuring top performance and data integrity.
Data Quality Assurance:
Implement quality checks and monitoring to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
Collaboration:
Partner with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to address data requirements and deliver business-driven solutions.
Performance Tuning:
Enhance data processing through query optimization and resource allocation.
Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive records for data engineering workflows and models.
Security and Compliance:
Apply measures to protect sensitive information and ensure regulatory adherence.
Innovation:
Stay updated on industry trends and continuously improve data engineering practices.
What You'll Bring: Programming Proficiency:
Expertise in
Python ,
Java , or
Scala .
SQL Mastery:
Extensive experience with SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
Big Data Expertise:
Hands-on experience with technologies such as
Hadoop ,
Spark , and
Kafka .
Cloud Platforms:
Familiarity with services from
AWS ,
Azure , or
Google Cloud .
Data Warehousing:
Knowledge of solutions like
Snowflake ,
Redshift , and
BigQuery .
ETL Tools:
Experience with platforms such as
Apache NiFi ,
Informatica , or
Talend .
Technical Foundations:
Strong understanding of data modeling, structures, and algorithms.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional problem-solving abilities, collaboration skills, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with machine learning pipelines and MLOps.
Knowledge of data governance and privacy standards.
Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Compensation & Benefits: Base Salary Range:
$160,000 - $170,000 per year
