Staff Software Engineer
to join their cutting-edge team in Sunnyvale, CA. This is your opportunity to work on impactful, large-scale projects with a company driving advancements in advertising technology.
What You'll Do: As a
Staff Software Engineer , you'll lead the development and design of scalable, highly available systems while managing complex cross-functional projects. Your expertise will drive critical solutions for one of the largest retail advertising platforms in the world. Lead Architecture & Design:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine strategy and translate it into sustainable architecture and solutions. Develop prototypes to validate feasibility.
Guide Engineering Projects:
Direct project teams, provide architectural and design guidance, and conduct code reviews to ensure platform scalability and stability.
Resolve Critical Issues:
Perform root cause analyses for business and production issues, identifying solutions to prevent recurrence.
Collaborate on Data-Driven Solutions:
Partner with data science teams to integrate machine learning models into real-time applications.
What You'll Bring:
6+ years of experience in developing and managing large-scale, distributed systems.
Expertise in
Java ,
Spring ,
NoSQL , and
object-oriented programming languages .
Hands-on experience with
Apache Hadoop ,
Map-Reduce ,
Apache Spark , and messaging systems like
Kafka .
Leadership in designing solutions architecture and implementing scalable systems.
Exposure to data science techniques and machine learning model implementation.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with exceptional analytical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
Bonus:
Experience in AdTech or Search technologies.

This high-performing group leverages cutting-edge data systems, machine learning, and analytics to deliver billions of ad requests monthly, empowering brands and retailers with actionable insights to enhance customer experiences.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary Range:
$143,000 - $286,000 per year
Annual Bonus:
20%
Equity:
$100,000 annually
Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.
