LHH is seeking an experienced
Principal Software Engineer (Frontend)
to join our client's AdTech team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in frontend development and a passion for leading teams in building scalable, high-performance applications. What You'll Do:
As a
Principal Software Engineer (Frontend) , you will: Lead and Mentor:
Provide guidance to engineers, ensuring the delivery of quality software solutions that optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
Collaborate Across Teams:
Work closely with Program Managers, Product Managers, and Scrum Champions to prioritize and execute engineering tasks effectively.
Design and Develop:
Architect and implement solutions for large-scale, cross-functional projects.
Troubleshoot and Optimize:
Direct root cause analysis for critical issues and ensure adherence to software quality best practices, including automated testing and proactive production support.
What You'll Bring: Frontend Expertise:
Proficiency in
JavaScript ,
TypeScript ,
React , and
Redux .
Backend Knowledge:
Experience with
Node.js
,
REST API development , and databases ( SQL/MySQL/MSSQL ).
Engineering Leadership:
Proven experience in hiring, mentoring, and leading world-class engineering teams.
Scalable Systems Experience:
5+ years of architecting and developing high-transaction, high-throughput web applications.
Agile Methodologies:
3+ years of experience working in agile environments within distributed teams.
Additional Skills:
Familiarity with
Java ,
HTML ,
CSS , and open-source technologies is a plus.
Nice-to-Haves: Prior experience in AdTech or developing ad platforms is highly desirable.
Compensation & Benefits: Salary Range:
$210,000 to $220,000 per year.
Bonus:
20% annual performance-based bonus.
Equity:
annual RSU grants (3-year vesting, performance-based).
