Construction Project Management Director- PMO Job ID: 199534 Posted: 26-Dec-2024 Service line: Project Management Role type: Full-time Areas of Interest: Construction Location(s): Remote - US or various locations in Michigan, North Carolina, Illinois, Texas, Kentucky, Ohio About the Role: As a CBRE Project Management Director, you’ll be responsible for department-related management services within multiple geographic markets, programs, or client accounts to achieve the company's strategic business objectives. This job is part of the Project Management function, responsible for managing projects from initiation through completion. This position can be performed remotely (Eastern Time Zone Preferred) with travel to client sites as needed. What You’ll Do: Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and oversee recruitment. Coordinate and manage daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Direct all phases of large and high-profile client projects including procurement, contracting, planning, tracking, and execution. Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant contract procurement, negotiation, execution, administration, and closeouts. Develop new business growth and maintain existing relationships. Maintain full responsibility for the financial performance of market, program, and client accounts. Identify complex project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Apply deep knowledge of multiple disciplines and drive financial performance. Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values. Conceptualize new methods, techniques, processes, and standards across disciplines. Resolve highly complex or unusual business problems through advanced critical thinking. What You’ll Need: Bachelor's Degree preferred with 12-15 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designations preferred. In-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles with the ability to analyze complex data. Experience in staffing, training, development, coaching, and performance appraisal. Ability to convey performance expectations and handle sensitive information. Leadership skills to motivate teams and achieve operational targets. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Expert organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset. Please be advised that effective January 1, 2025, CBRE Project Management and Turner & Townsend will be consolidated into a single global business entity. CBRE considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $130,000.00 annually and the maximum is $160,000.00 annually, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus and benefits including 401(K), Dental, Health, Life, and Vision Insurance.
