About the Role:

As a CBRE Project Management Director, you’ll be responsible for department-related management services within multiple geographic markets, programs, or client accounts to achieve the company's strategic business objectives. This job is part of the Project Management function and involves managing projects from initiation through completion. This position can work remotely (Eastern Time Zone Preferred) but will require travel to client sites as needed.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and oversee recruiting and hiring.
  2. Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
  3. Direct all phases of the process for large and high-profile clients, including procurement, contracting, planning, tracking, and execution.
  4. Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant contract procurement, negotiation, execution, administration, and closeouts.
  5. Develop new business growth and maintain existing business relationships.
  6. Maintain full responsibility for the financial performance of market, program, and client accounts.
  7. Identify complex project risks, lead reviews, and develop risk mitigation and backup plans.
  8. Drive financial and functional performance within disciplines and across business.
  9. Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  10. Conceptualize new methods, techniques, processes, and standards across job disciplines or functions.
  11. Direct the resolution of complex business problems by applying advanced critical thinking.

What You’ll Need:

  1. Bachelor's Degree preferred with 12-15 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
  2. In-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles and the ability to analyze complex business/financial data.
  3. Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, and performance measurement.
  4. Ability to exchange sensitive, complicated information and handle problems effectively.
  5. Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve operational targets.
  6. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  7. Expert organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Please be advised that effective January 1, 2025, CBRE Project Management and Turner & Townsend will be consolidated into a single global business entity. As a candidate applying for this position, you should be aware that your initial employment may be with CBRE Project Management, but you will subsequently transfer to the newly formed entity.

Compensation: The minimum salary for this position is $130,000.00 annually, and the maximum salary is $160,000.00 annually. Compensation will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role includes benefits such as 401(K), Dental Insurance, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, and Vision Insurance.
