Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month
Annual Salary Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00
Annual Bonus Incentive: Up to 20% or more of salary per year
Summary
The Group Manager Logistics I manages the overall financial, operational and employee aspects of multiple accounts. This individual is responsible for the profitable retention and growth of business within his/her span of control (multiple accounts), while ensuring that financial, employee, safety and customer satisfaction goals are met.
Essential Functions
Goal setting, skills assessment, IDPs, career development, performance evaluation, on-going employee feedback, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
Developing direct and indirect reports and conducting quality selection of qualified personnel.
Creating location processes and maintaining SCLM. Cross-training of CLS and CLC.
Customer satisfaction/problem resolution. Review of KPI tracking and improvement.
Improve employee retention and reduce accidents compared to the previous year.
Recommend location process improvements and conduct on-going self-audits.
SOX invoice reconciliation and revenue recognition preparation.

Knowledge of truck brokerage preferred.
Advanced knowledge of RD/Logistics/Transportation industry required.
Familiarity with Ryder Safety Programs, Financial Reporting, and accounting procedures is required.
Basic PC skills (Microsoft Office) required.
Knowledge of RD2000 computer system required.
Knowledge of Ryder products & services, sales process, and pricing models required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or supply chain, or two (2) years of relevant work experience required.
Master's degree in a related field preferred.
Five (5) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse required.
Five (5) years or more managing, leading, and developing direct reports preferred.
Five (5) years or more managing large multi-level teams required.
Three (3) years or more demonstrated experience in developing and implementing logistics solutions required.
Three (3) years or more prior experience in leading teams in a LEAN work environment preferred.
Three (3) years or more Profit & Loss responsibility preferred.
One (1) year or more customer interaction required.
Knowledge of truck brokerage preferred.

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc.

Salaried
Minimum Pay Range:
$110,000.00
Maximum Pay Range:
$120,000.00
The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
