Human Resource Specialist 2 Work Location: Bellevue, WA Work Schedule: Mon-Thurs onsite, Friday remote Top Skills Required: Proficiency in Workday Strong Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables, formulas) with the ability to interpret data and create visualizations Experience with internal employee lifecycles (Talent Reviews, Performance Reviews, Promotion cycles, etc.) preferred General HR administration and customer-focused experience Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Education and Work Experience: Preferred: BA/BS, MA/MS/MBA degree in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent experience 2 years of relevant experience with HR technologies, a solid understanding of core HR practices, processes, and terminology across HRIS, compensation, recruiting, performance management, and people processes Position Overview: The HR Specialist 2 will provide operational support to assigned HR Business Partner teams, managing activities across all core HR functions. Responsibilities: Assist HRBPs with various HR-related issues, including cyclical business tasks, people processes, and general inquiries Support voluntary and involuntary separations, including drafting legal agreements, consolidating employee information, conducting exit interviews, and backfilling positions Manage workforce planning, including headcount creation and management Efficiently work with datasets in Excel, including v-lookups, pivot tables, and formulas Collect and report data from multiple sources related to HR People Metrics Assist with SOP updates and serve as an SME for HRG processes Mentor and train new HRG team members Provide HR audit support and mass RIF/PMO backup support Handle other projects as requested Skills: 2 years of relevant experience with HR technologies and a solid understanding of core HR practices Data-driven with strong modeling skills and the ability to interpret data and create visualizations Effective time management and adaptability to shifting priorities Quick learner with a passion for continuous learning Detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in project management and problem-solving Strong communication skills, both in person and remotely Problem-solving mindset with the ability to find creative solutions Ownership of strategy and best practices in HR operations Exceptional customer service focus and attention to quality results Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels Ability to multitask and manage various projects simultaneously Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Self-initiative and the ability to respond quickly to client requests and foster professional relationships Innovative self-starter with a passion for excellence Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Experience with HRIS tools, with Workday being a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
