We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the service industry, based in West Chester, Ohio, United States. The role involves meticulous financial tasks and data management within a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately processing payments and managing invoice procedures
• Efficiently managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Conducting thorough research and analyses to resolve discrepancies
• Ensuring precise data entry and maintenance of customer records
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel and Sage 100 for accounting and reporting processes
• Opening checks and posting to the General Ledger (GL)
• Overseeing the billing process and ensuring it aligns with financial policies.• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in an accounting clerk role or similar position
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• Demonstrated experience in billing and invoice processing
• Skilled in data entry with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data management and financial analysis
• Experience with Sage 100 or comparable accounting software
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
