We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist in the Manufacturing industry, located in WOODRIDGE, Illinois. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company and will provide administrative support across the organization. You will handle the flow of people through the business and ensure that all receptionist responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
• Handle customer inquiries and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.
• Keep detailed and accurate records of visitor requests and of actions taken.
• Manage the company's multi-line phone system, screening and forwarding calls as necessary.
• Maintain the detail oriented appearance of the reception area.
• Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, and scanning.
• Schedule appointments and update calendars.
• Oversee the use and maintenance of office equipment.
• Responsible for managing company car registrations and keys, ensuring each vehicle is well-maintained.
• Monitor IT-related issues, specifically the activation and deactivation of employee access badges in compliance with company policies.
• Carry out inventory checks and order office supplies as needed.• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in answering a multi-line phone system
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Expertise in data entry with high level of accuracy
• Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and customers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word
• Experience in organizing and managing files and documents
• Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars effectively
