a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced highly qualified professional Senior Network and Computer Systems Administrator to support KDS, and our Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)/Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO)/Infrastructure and Operations Office (IOO) Government Customer. The Senior Network and Computer Systems Administrator is an integral component supporting our HUD client's IT Modernization effort to provide a single Operations & Maintenance (O&M) consolidated support services of (1) data storage facilities, (2) hardware/software, and (3) cloud services providers. This position is in a team environment and involves collaboration with and supporting other team members, contractors, and HUD internal and external users. This position possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. Plans and leads major technology assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. May supervise others. The ideal candidate is a team player with proven experience as a Senior Network and Computer Systems Administrator .

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, and are not limited to: Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system. Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. May monitor and test Web site performance to ensure Web sites operate correctly and without interruption. May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software. May supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists. May administer network security measures. Analyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing network systems, such as local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system. Perform network maintenance to ensure networks operate correctly with minimal interruption. Access Management support such as: also known as an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst, is responsible for managing user access rights across an organization's systems and applications, ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to necessary data while adhering to security policies and compliance regulations; this includes tasks like provisioning accounts, reviewing access levels, performing access certifications, and identifying potential security risks related to user access. Process New User creation in Active Directory, LDAP, and IBM Process application access requests in the above systems Update and deactivate user accounts as necessary based on role changes and terminations Network Connectivity: support remote users with "Zscaler-related issues to access HUD network resources. Provide the best possible solution to users with home internet and/or Wi-Fi issues on the HUD laptop. 6-9 years of demonstrated "Essential functions" listed above. 3+ years of demonstrated experience of the "Perform other IOO O&M functions" functions listed above. 3+ years of experience of working in a Agile Scrum methodology framework. 6-9 years of experience and knowledge in software development lifecycles. Very strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with Federal consulting. Education:

Bachelor's degree in related fields, such as information technology or computer science. Master's degree is a bonus. Active Certifications in IT arenas: Cloud, O&M, IOO support. Knowledge and experience with HUD OCIO IOO is a bonus.

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
