Overview:
It is the primary responsibility of the Assistant Manager Gilley to assist in the management of the restaurant and night club operations. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.Specific Job Functions:Constantly monitor service levels on the dining room floor and adjust staffing as neededMaintain Food Line Check to constantly ensure ticket times meet property established standardsComplete paperwork, daily reports and all other necessary financial analysis for the restaurantEnsure guest satisfaction by approaching every table and making sure the guest dining expectations have been achievedOrder products and supplies for the restaurantComplete dinner reservations for guestsConduct daily pre-shift meetings and regular staff training meetingsManage and lead staff including hiring, scheduling, employee counseling and commendationsTrain all employees on steps of service, sequence of service and hold them accountable to the standardsEnsure daily operational tasks are performed and completedEnsure equipment is in working orderEnsure areas of the restaurant are constantly maintained for cleanlinessPractice necessary sanitation methods to ensure food safety standards are followedCommunicate via e-mail in a professional manner and follow computer use guidelinesEnsure necessary tools are provided to staffEnsure adequate staffing levels are maintained and control budgeted labor costsEnsure departmental and company policies are followedAssist Manager in achieving service, financial and human resource goals set forth by the property executivesPerform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the departmentResponsibilities/Qualifications:
Two years prior night club Assistant Manager or Supervisory experience preferred (Country Western bar/club preferred)Two years prior high-volume restaurant Assistant Manager or Supervisory experience required (Barbeque experience preferred)Communicate effectively in English both verbally and written formsMust possess basic computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and AccessCollege degree preferred+Mandatory testing on restaurant menu knowledge (Information will be provided)
