Job DescriptionClient Information - A level 4 church based childcare center; servicing children from 6 weeks to 5 years (Pre-K).
Position Summary
Seeking out energetic professionals that love working with people. Responsible for leading the daycare ministry with strong leadership, business experience and a passion for serving.
Major Responsibilities• Responsible for working in a timely manner to communicate with parents, children, staff members, etc.• Manage a team of full-time and part-time employees.• Purchase supplies and manage the budget and make sure spending does not exceed revenue/budget.• Staff scheduling, disciplinary actions and hiring and firing.• Onboard new families; manage waitlist; maintain the files of staff and children per state standards.• Worked with church board, staff members, and other internal and external individuals.• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements• Any combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge, skills and ability to perform duties of this position. Associate degree in early childhood education a plus.• At least 3 years of experience working in either a licensed or registered ministry• Must have CDA (Child Development Associate)• CPR Certification preferred• Average Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, PP, Outlook)• Strong organizational and communication skills• Integrity and a positive attitude; self-starter demonstrating initiative while effectively adapting to change• Hours: TBD Center Hours: 6am to 6pm.• Starting hourly pay $20.00 hourly with a sign on bonus after 90 days
