A recognized regional CPA firm located in New York City is actively seeking an experienced Auditor, with a Commercial background, for a great Senior-level opportunity. In this role, the Auditor Senior will be responsible for running client engagements, reviewing client accounting & operating procedures and systems of internal control, and conducting audit tests.Responsibilities:The Audit Senior will:Oversee workpaper documentationPerform basic preparation of federal and state income tax returnsParticipate in development of accounting worksheetsSupervise, train, and mentor staff and interns on audit processAssess performance of staff for engagement reviewsPerform in-charge role as neededPerform accounting researchQualifications:
3+ years of experience in a Public Accounting role/settingBachelor's and/or Master's degree in AccountingCommercial and Financial Services experienceExcellent client service and communication skillsOutstanding analytical, organizational, and project management skillsWorking knowledge of Audit Preparation softwareMicrosoft Office proficientSolid analytical skillsGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailHighly organizedDesired Skills:
Broker Dealer experience
