Representing a leader in the industry, we are searching for an experienced Concrete Estimator/Project Manager to join their team in upstate New York (Rensselaer County) in the heavy civil arena. IMMEDIATE
Responsibilities:
Develop complete and accurate bid proposal for concrete and building work including quantity take-off, crew composition, material and subcontractor pricingDevelop and maintain project schedulesAttend pre-bid and progress meetings with the owner, vendors and subcontractorsOutline and communicate specifications to superintendents and forepersonProcure materials for the projectTrack project costs and cash flow to ensure project is completed on budget and on timeDevelop business relationships to increase bid opportunitiesQualifications:
Bachelor's or Associates degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferredComputer literacy in the following softwares: Construction Link Estimating, CPM Scheduling, Foundations Accounting, Bluebeam/Adobe Pro, MS Office SuiteExcellent communication, written & verbalAttention to detailWorking knowledge of means and methods, crew composition, production rates for Building Construction, Structural Concrete & Flatware ConcretePLEASE NOTE:
Candidates must past a pre-employment drug screeningMinimum of 3-5 documented years of experienceStrong comp & benefitsSalary commensurate with experience
