Onsite 100% in beautiful Newport Beach, CA (Please do not apply if you're unable to commute to Newport Beach).Recruiter Hustle is currently recruiting for a Senior-level General Ledger Accountant for a growing mid-sized public company. As a Senior GL Accountant you will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our month-end closing process. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and collaborating on the development of financial statements.Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Oversee the accuracy and completeness of assigned financial tasks.Lead project teams as needed, ensuring proper documentation.Manage month-end closing tasks, including foreign currency adjustments, eliminations, and expense allocations.Streamline the closing process by developing new procedures.Contribute to the development of global accounting policies for accurate financial reporting.Support internal and external reporting processes (e.g., monthly financial package, SEC filings).Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience).6-9 years of experience in a related accounting role.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Experience with accounting software (e.g., Dynamics D365) a plus.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.Success Traits
