The positions will support one of our Government clients in Annapolis Junction, MD.ResponsibilitiesLead research in embedded systems for teams of 1-2 people to discover and analyze vulnerabilities.Lead others in tasks, coordinate with customers on existing work, and lead complex problems through to completion.Minimum QualificationsExperience researching and developing in an embedded systems world (VxWorks, ELDK, or custom OS)Demonstrated experience in ARM, PPC, MIPS, or other embedded assembly languagesExpert-level engineer with over 12 years of experience analyzing embedded systemsExperience with Python, C, and ASM and developmentExperience with debugging tools (GDB)Demonstrated ability to self-drive research tasking and coordinate with customers on distilling larger tasks into meaningful milestonesLabor Category Requirements - Software Developer IIIMinimum eight (8) years of experience programming with object-oriented programming languagesMinimum five (5) years of experience developing Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments OR minimum five (5) years of experience developing UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environmentsExperience developing complex programs using, C, C#, C++, Java, or other comparable languagesMinimum three (3) leading projects that develop complex software, ensuring a collaborative environment, and configuration management, and Experience implementing software life cycle management (requirements, design, develop, test, validate, deploy)Labor Category Requirements - CNO Analyst/Programmer IIIBachelor's degree and six (6) years of experience OR minimum ten (10) years of experience in computer science, information systems, or network engineeringMinimum eight (8) years of experience programming in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or PythonMinimum seven (7) years of experience developing in one (1) or more of the following:Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environmentsUNIX applications using make files or comparable build environmentsMinimum six (6) years of experience with programming CNO tools and techniquesMinimum five (5) years of experience managing and supervising teams in support of Government CNO capability developmentMinimum five (5) years of experience with programming CNO tools for the US GovernmentMinimum four (4) years of experience programming techniques to evade host and or network-based intrusion detection systemsMinimum four (4) years of experience in network sockets programming developing packet-level programs: expert packet-level understanding of IP, TCP, and application-level protocolsExpert ability in UNIX kernel internals and low-level Windows internals:OS runtime linker/loaderOS-specific mandatory and discretionary access control mechanismsProcess and thread APIs and data structures.Labor Category Requirements - CNO Analyst/Programmer IVMinimum sixteen (16) years of experience in computer science, information systems, or network engineering, or Bachelor’s degree plus twelve (12) years of experience, Master’s degree plus ten (10) years of experience, or Ph.D. plus eight(8) years of experienceMinimum twelve (12) years of experience programming in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or PythonMinimum twelve (12) years of experience developing in one (1) or more of the following: Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments; Unix/Linux applications using make files or comparable build environmentsMinimum ten (10) years of experience with programming CNO toolsMinimum five (5) years of experience leading, managing, and or supervising teams in support of CNO capability developmentMinimum four (4) years of experience programming techniques to evade host and or network-based intrusion detection systemsMinimum four (4) years of experience in network sockets programming, including developing packet-level programs; expert packet-level understanding of IP, TCP, and application-level protocolsExpert ability in UNIX and or low-level Windows internals, including but not limited to the OS runtime linker/loader, object file formats (e.g., PE, COFF, ELF), file system internals (e.g., NTFS, ext2, btrfs), OS-specific mandatory and discretionary access control mechanisms, and or process and thread APIs and data structures.Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph.
