Business Intelligence Analyst
to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our Waltham, MA; Austin, TX; or St. Petersburg, FL office.Job SummaryWe are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join Imprivata’s Business Intelligence (BI) team. The BI team at Imprivata focuses on data analysis, reporting, and predictive modeling. We work to integrate and develop analytics across a wide range of data sources, including Salesforce data, financial data, customer product usage data, and industry benchmark data. Our goal is to provide essential business intelligence to internal business groups at Imprivata, in order for them to make better business decisions and better measure performance.The BI Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on data from Salesforce and other business systems. Potential work includes pipeline analysis, sales and renewals forecasting, market sizing, customer utilization and ROI analysis, and modeling of different business strategies and outcomes. He/she will get to work cross-functionally with different Imprivata business groups to understand, develop and track KPIs. More than someone who can build reports and dashboards, we are looking for someone who is passionate about using data to answer questions. Someone who gets excited to see teams and workflows and businesses transformed by the power of data-driven insights.Duties And ResponsibilitiesEngage with internal stakeholders to understand reporting/analytics needsProvide reporting on business performance (historic growth, win rates, conversion rates, retention rates etc.), customer spend, customer product usage, team activity, and team utilizationDesign and build dashboards (in Salesforce and Tableau) that empower Imprivata business teams to track KPIs and access business essential analyticsSupport Sales, Renewals and other financial forecastingLeverage data to answer important business questions and inform real business decisionsHelp with data QA and data clean-up as neededHelp develop and maintain relevant data dictionaries and knowledge articlesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field2-3 years of experience as a business analyst or in similar roleDemonstrated proficiency with analyzing, summarizing and presenting complex data in a clear and compelling mannerPassion for problem-solvingExperience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Salesforce CRM-Analytics, PowerBI etc.) and techniquesPrior experience with Salesforce is not required, but desirableProficiency with Microsoft ExcelExcellent communication skills. Candidate needs to be able to work with internal stakeholders to discuss business needs and present analysis/findings.Willingness to learn and adapt. Looking for people excited by the challenge of learning new tools and processes, who can adapt to rapidly changing priorities in a positive manner.Ability to function independently in a fast-paced environmentThis position offers a salary range of $96,800.00 to $119,800.00 (inclusive of variable compensation such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata’s benefit offerings can be found here. This salary range represents the high and low end of Imprivata’s salary range for this position.
