Dr. Krebs has already effected positive change at our hospital and is known for going the extra mile, investing 110%, teaching and mentoring our growing team with empathy and building relationships with the pets and pet parents of the growing Fairgrounds Animal Hospital family.A little bit about her:She earned her DVM at Washington State University and completed a surgery residency at North Carolina State UniversityDr. Krebs began her veterinary career as an Animal Care Specialist in the Army. She served 23 years on active duty in diverse positions such as Deputy Director and Veterinary Surgeon at Veterinary Medical Center Europe in Germany, and the dual-hatted Chief of Clinical Operations and Clinical Medicine Specialist/Surgeon in a deployable unit—the 248th Medical Detachment (Veterinary Service Support) at Ft Bragg, NCDuring her service, Dr. Krebs cared for hundreds of military working dogs and thousands of pets owned by service members and retireesShe mentored, trained, and developed more than 100 new veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and food inspection specialists, striving to have a positive impact on the lives of those around herImagine life in Nevada:Pack up your hiking shoes and your ski poles because the Reno area is full of year-round outdoor adventure!
